Delhi is usually a transit city on paper — the airport gateway, the first or last night. That undersells it. Old Delhi's lanes, the Mughal-era monuments, and the contrast with colonial New Delhi give a genuine one-day (or better, two-day) experience that most itineraries compress into a half-day drive-past.
