International flight to/from India likely to start after July 31. India has extended international air travel ban till July 31, 2020 the restriction is not applicable to international all cargo operations and flights. The India’s aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has recently announced the ban of international flights to and from India.
The decision has been taken after a close assessment of COVID situation in the country, as the number of cases has been increasing per day and it is also anticipated that the situation will improve by the given date. Whereas, the circular issues by the DGCA also mentions that International Scheduled flights may be allowed by the competent authority on case to case basis. looking at this it is presumed that International flight to/from India likely to start after July 31
This also refers to the finalising of air bubbles or air bridges with some countries. Well, negotiation is under process with few countries and Indian Government has received requests from concerned authorities of several countries such as the US, France, Germany to name the few, asking if they are allowed to be part in the transportation of passengers along the line being conducted by Air India under Vande Bharat Mission.
