Indian Medical tourism industry is expected to rewach US$ 9 billion by 2020, reveals the Tourism and Hospitality report by India Brand Equity Foundation. The report also claimed that travel & tourism’s contribution to capital investment in India is expected to grow by 6.7 percent per annum during 2018–28. In India, The Medical Tourism sector contribution to Indian GDP is expected to grow by 7.1 per cent per annum during 2018-28. Looking at overview the industry is expected to grow at a higher level.
